WELCOME! Our goal is to share the adventure of turning a beautiful but neglected, over-grazed and dry farmed property on California’s central coast, into a sustainable and environmentally friendly horse property.
We would appreciate your comments, ideas and suggestions. We are not “eco” experts! We are learning as we go. Many ‘green’ choices are a matter of degree. Some say any development is bad…while others utilize resources with out much thought of the larger picture. We will make each decision keeping the welfare of the environment in mind: the products we use, the structures we build and the management practices for the horses and land.
Last but not least…we are excited to introduce the generous, knowledgeable, and creative individuals we have met along the way. These wonderful people have become our friends, advisers and “team”
